Screamify has renewed The Horrored Girls for 11 more episodes, premiering October 7 and releasing weekly. Here is the number that matters: the first season also ran 11. Nobody trimmed it.
Renewals at the same episode count are the honest signal in streaming. A show that underperforms gets a shortened second order, a schedule change, or a quiet non-announcement. Same length means the math worked.

The Format Score
The show's rating system is better than most professional criticism, and that is not a joke. Three meters, each measuring a genuinely distinct thing a horror film can do to a person. Prairie Dog for jump scares. Nightlight for what survives the drive home. Martini for how badly a movie wants you to like its monster. A single ten-point scale flattens all three into one number and pretends that is analysis. This does not.
The Booking Score
Season 1 booked working filmmakers over headline names: Anthony DiBlasi, Chelsea Stardust and David Blue Garcia behind the camera, Jeff Farley on effects, Patrick Fabian, Riley Dandy, Abby Wright and Michael Capes in front of it, with Lee Waddell and Cheryl Meyer rounding out the eleven. Lower ceiling on any single episode, much higher floor across a full season. That is the correct trade for a first year and it is a large part of why there is a second one.

Where It Loses Points
Zero announced Season 2 guests roughly six weeks from premiere. Outreach is described as active across upcoming films, series and genre veterans, with names promised before October 7, but an unannounced lineup is a real drag on pre-launch interest and the clock is running. The second deduction is structural. Weekly release on a free platform gives a new viewer no reason to binge and every reason to drift after episode three.
The Verdict
8.2 on the Scream Scale. An original scoring system, a booking strategy that respects the craft, hosts who produce their own program, and a renewal that did not have to be talked into existence. The gap between that and a nine is a guest list nobody has seen yet.
